You can view and restrict replies to a form with Google Forms.

View responses

View responses by question

  1. Open up a form in Google Forms.
  2. At the top of the form, click Responses.
  3. Click Summary.

View responses past person

Run across answers by person or, if you immune people to submit the form more than than one time, by submission.

  1. Open a form in Google Forms.
  2. At the elevation of the course, click Responses.
  3. Click Individual.
  4. To motility betwixt responses, click Previous Previous or Next Next.

Note: To select from a listing of responses, click the Down arrow Down arrow.

  1. Open a form in Google Forms.
  2. At the top of the form, click Responses.
  3. At the top right, click Create Spreadsheet Export to Google Sheets.

Turn response notifications on or off

  1. Open a grade in Google Forms.
  2. At the height of the form, click Responses.
  3. Click More More.
  4. Click Get e-mail notifications for new responses.

Stop collecting responses

  1. Open up a form in Google Forms.
  2. At the top, click Responses .
  3. Plow "Accepting responses" from On to Off.

After you lot've turned this off, y'all'll see a message in the "Responses" tab that says "Not accepting responses."

Collect respondents' email addresses

Record the electronic mail addresses from people who fill up out your form. When someone takes your survey, they will be required to enter their electronic mail address before they submit the form.

If yous utilise a Google account through work or school, respondents will see a bulletin at the tiptop explaining that their username will be collected automatically.

  1. Open a course in Google Forms.
  2. At the tiptop, click Settings.
  3. Next to "Responses," click the Down arrow Down arrow.
  4. Plow on Collect email addresses.

Copy and paste charts from Google Forms

If your class creates charts in your "Responses" section, you can re-create and paste them into other files.

  1. Open a class in Google Forms.
  2. Click Responses.
  3. At the acme right of a nautical chart, click Copy Make a copy.
  4. Paste the nautical chart wherever you would like.

Send response receipts

If y'all collect responder emails, yous can choose whether respondents get a copy of their answers.

  1. Open a form in Google Forms.
  2. At the top of the form, click Settings.
  3. Turn on Collect email addresses.
  4. Next to "Responses," click the Down pointer Down arrow.
  5. Side by side to "Send responders a copy of their response," select When requested or Always.

Tip: In certain circumstances, responders may not receive expected response receipts due to spam filters or other counter-abuse measures.
